For years, fans have linked Ranbir Kapoor to Dhoom 4. Now, the actor has finally addressed the rumours, and his answer is crystal clear. During the Ramayana panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, Ranbir confirmed that he is not a part of Dhoom 4, putting an end to years of speculation.
“I’m Not Doing Dhoom 4”
When asked about the long-running reports surrounding the next Dhoom film, Ranbir dismissed them outright. He clarified that he isn’t attached to the franchise and revealed that his current focus is entirely on completing Ramayana and Love & War. The actor did not comment on any other rumoured projects, including Animal Park.
Why The Rumours Lasted So Long
Speculation around Ranbir leading Dhoom 4 has been circulating for nearly two years. Multiple reports had claimed he would headline a reboot of the iconic YRF franchise, but neither the studio nor the actor had officially confirmed the casting. Ranbir’s latest statement is the first direct response from him on the matter.
What’s Keeping Ranbir Busy?
Instead of chasing rumours, Ranbir is focused on two of Bollywood’s biggest upcoming films. He will next be seen as Lord Rama in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, followed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War. Both projects are among the most anticipated releases on the horizon.
Know Buddys Take
