For Kiara Advani, Toxic isn’t just another big-budget film. It’s the role that challenged her the most. Ahead of the release of Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, Kiara opened up about playing Nadia, describing the character as the “most creatively fulfilling” role of her career. She revealed that the emotionally layered part pushed her beyond her comfort zone and reminded her why she fell in love with acting.

‘All The Meat An Actor Longs For’

Kiara recalled being completely captivated after director Geetu Mohandas narrated the script. She said Nadia demanded a wide emotional range, strength, vulnerability, sensitivity, detachment and even madness, all within a single character. According to Kiara, the role offered “all the meat an actor longs for,” making it one of the richest performances of her career.

A Powerful Ensemble Of Women

The actress also addressed the film’s ensemble cast, which includes Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth. Kiara praised her co-stars, saying every woman brought her own individuality and energy to the film. She added that audiences will get to see multiple strong female characters sharing the same cinematic universe, something she found incredibly refreshing.

One Of The Year’s Biggest Releases

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups stars Yash in the lead and is slated for a worldwide theatrical release later this month. The pan-India action drama has generated massive anticipation thanks to its scale, ensemble cast and Yash’s return to the big screen after the KGF franchise.

Know Buddys Take

The biggest roles aren’t always the loudest, they’re the ones that challenge an actor from within. If Kiara Advani’s words are any indication, Nadia could be one of the defining performances of her career. With Toxic already carrying sky-high expectations, fans will be eager to see whether the film lives up to the hype.
