Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth have opened the doors to their first home together in Chennai, giving fans a glimpse into the space they have created as a couple. The 4,000-square-foot apartment on the 18th floor combines sweeping city views with artwork, vintage pieces, rich patterns and personal touches.

A Home With A View

The apartment is surrounded by balconies and large windows, offering expansive views of the Chennai skyline and the sea. Its open layout creates a sense of continuity between the different spaces.

Designed To Feel Personal

While the apartment already had a strong aesthetic, designer Pavitra Rajaram helped make it feel more personal to Aditi and Siddharth. The interiors bring together custom pieces, vintage furniture, artwork and patterned fabrics.

Aditi’s Love For Patterns

Aditi had a clear vision for the principal bedroom, which features a four-poster bed and plenty of patterns. The home also includes earthy, warmer tones, reflecting her preference for spaces that feel lived-in rather than overly polished.

Siddharth’s Chennai Connection

Siddharth has added his own touches to the home, including old maps and historical artwork connected to his love for Chennai. He particularly enjoys the apartment’s long visual flow, which allows the different rooms to feel connected.

Vintage Details Everywhere

The foyer and passages feature pieces such as a vintage Turkish runner, teakwood study desk, Burmese lacquer box, cast-brass butter lamp and vintage Japanese woodblock prints. Their collection of artwork adds another layer of personality to the space.

A Home That Feels Lived In

Rather than following a single contemporary design trend, the couple’s home mixes old-world details with modern comfort. Every room has its own character, while the overall design remains connected through colour, texture and pattern.

KnowBuddys Take

This isn’t the kind of celebrity home that screams luxury at you. It feels more like a beautiful collection of stories vintage finds, family influences, Chennai memories and two very different personalities coming together under one roof.
