The project will mark Salman’s first collaboration with the filmmakers and his first full-fledged superhero film.

Earlier reports had suggested that the film could go on floors as early as October 2026. The latest update, however, indicates that filming has now been pushed to January 2027.

Raj & DK are currently occupied with the final schedule of Farzi 2, starring Shahid Kapoor. Once they wrap the series, the duo will reportedly move into pre-production for Salman’s superhero film, with groundwork expected to begin around October-end.

Before starting the superhero project, Salman has several commitments lined up, including his untitled action film with Vamshi Paidipally and his Bigg Boss 20 hosting duties. The superhero film will therefore come after he completes these existing commitments.

The makers have reportedly not finalised the female lead yet. Earlier speculation had linked Samantha Ruth Prabhu to the project, but reports have clarified that she is not part of the film and casting is still underway.
