For months…Fans thought Hera Pheri 3 had turned into Bollywood’s biggest off-screen feud. But according to Paresh Rawal, that’s not really what happened. Breaking his silence on the controversy, the veteran actor said Akshay Kumar’s ₹25 crore legal notice wasn’t driven by anger or hatred. Instead, he believes it was an “emotional reaction” after his sudden exit from the film.

“He Must Have Been Emotionally Disturbed”

Speaking candidly about the situation, Paresh said he never believed Akshay’s decision was personal. He suggested that Akshay was probably hurt by his decision to step away from the project, saying it may have simply been a case of, “How could he say no to me?” According to Paresh, the legal notice came from emotion rather than ill will.

The Real Reason Behind His Exit

Paresh also dismissed rumours that he quit because he didn’t want to work with Akshay. Instead, he explained that the issue was contractual. Since producer Firoz Nadiadwala owns the rights to the Hera Pheri franchise, Paresh said he couldn’t move forward without resolving those obligations first.

Will Baburao Return?

Here’s the part fans will love. Paresh made it clear that he still wants to play Baburao and hasn’t closed the door on Hera Pheri 3. He said that whenever the film is properly made with all contractual matters sorted, he’d be happy to return to one of Bollywood’s most iconic comedy franchises.

Know Buddys Take

Here’s the tea. This never sounded like an ego clash. It sounded like a communication breakdown. The good news? Neither Akshay nor Paresh seems interested in burning bridges. And honestly…A Hera Pheri movie without Raju, Shyam, and Baburao just doesn’t feel like Hera Pheri. Here’s hoping the paperwork gets sorted… Because Bollywood deserves one more round of “Utha le re baba!”
