The ongoing CJP-led student protests continue to divide opinions. The latest celebrity to react is veteran actor and BJP MP Hema Malini, who said the protests “make no sense” and urged students not to be misled, instead calling for dialogue to resolve the issues.
“Protests Won’t Achieve Anything”
Speaking to the media, Hema Malini said that demonstrations alone would not lead to a solution. She encouraged those involved to engage in discussions rather than protests, adding that meaningful conversations are a better way to address concerns.
Appeal To Students
The veteran actor also urged organisers not to mislead students into participating in the demonstrations. Defending the government’s work in the education sector, she appealed to students to carefully evaluate the situation before joining any movement.
Celebrities Continue To Share Different Views
Hema Malini’s comments come at a time when several members of the film industry have publicly expressed differing opinions on the protests. While some celebrities have extended support to the demonstrators, others have advocated dialogue over demonstrations, highlighting the range of perspectives emerging from the entertainment industry.
