Bollywood may have just found its most unexpected new entrant. American comedian and television host Conan O’Brien recently tried his luck at becoming a Bollywood star, and his hilarious audition left actors Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal completely stunned. The moment was part of Conan’s upcoming travel-comedy series Conan O’Brien Must Go, where he explores India and experiences Bollywood culture.

Conan Wants A Bollywood Break

In the promo, Conan approaches Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal asking if he has what it takes to become a Bollywood actor. While the duo appreciates his confidence, they quickly tell him that simply showing up and calling himself a star is not enough to enter the Hindi film industry.

Richa And Ali Give Him A Reality Check

Richa jokingly tells Conan that she does not think he is “Bollywood material,” while Ali explains that becoming a Bollywood star requires much more than just wanting the title. The playful rejection only motivates Conan to prove himself further.

Conan’s Hindi “Song” Steals The Show

When asked if he can speak Hindi, Conan admits that he cannot but confidently says he can “sing Hindi.” He then performs a hilarious song beginning with “Namaste, mera naam Conan hai” while dancing, leaving Richa and Ali speechless.

A Global Comedy Meets Bollywood Moment

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal appear in the India chapter of Conan O’Brien Must Go Season 3, where Conan explores Indian culture, meets local personalities and tries his hand at Bollywood-style entertainment.

Conan Brings His Signature Chaos

Known for his self-deprecating humour, Conan turns his India journey into a fun cultural exchange. From attempting Bollywood moves to joking about his chances of becoming a Hindi film hero, the comedian proves that his biggest talent is making every situation entertaining.

KnowBuddys Take

Conan O’Brien entering Bollywood was not on anyone’s 2026 bingo card, but honestly, the confidence was unmatched. The audition might not get him a lead role, but the “Namaste, mera naam Conan hai” performance already deserves its own award.
