Mirzapur: The Movie reportedly had two post-credits scenes ready for release, but the makers chose to hold one back. According to an industry source cited by Mid-Day and Hindustan Times, the deleted scene was designed to set up the next chapter, and the team felt it would have a greater narrative impact when used in Part 2.

1. There was another post-credits scene

Fans who stayed until the end of Mirzapur: The Movie may have seen the post-credits sequence teasing what’s next. But apparently, that wasn’t the only sc7ne shot for the film. The makers had filmed another end-credit sequence, which was originally intended to be part of the theatrical version.

2. So why was it removed?

The decision wasn’t reportedly because the scene didn’t work. Instead, the team felt its narrative significance would be stronger in the sequel. The scene was specifically designed to lay groundwork for what comes next, making it more valuable as part of Mirzapur: The Movie Part 2.

3. The makers aren’t revealing what happens in it

And here’s where things get interesting. There is currently no confirmed information about who appears in the deleted scene or what exactly it reveals. The makers are apparently choosing to keep those details under wraps so that future reveals retain their impact.

Basically, the Mirzapur spoiler vault remains locked.

4. The sequel was planned from the beginning

The biggest takeaway? Part 2 wasn’t suddenly greenlit because of the movie’s box-office success.

According to the source, the sequel had always been part of the plan which explains why the team had already shot material specifically designed to set up the next chapter.

5. The existing end-credit scene already teases chaos

The post-credits scene currently shown in the film is already doing plenty of heavy lifting.

It features Guddu Pandit, Munna Tripathi and Bablu Pandit in a hair salon, where Guddu and Munna discover that they’re both in love with Sweety. The scene ends with the two pulling guns on each other, strongly teasing a potential clash in the sequel.

6. The deleted scene could add another layer

With one tease already pointing towards a major confrontation, the withheld scene could potentially expand the story in an entirely different direction. For now, though, its characters and plot details remain unknown, so any theories circulating online should be treated as speculation rather than confirmed information.

7. Mirzapur’s cinematic universe isn’t done yet

The movie expands the world of the popular Mirzapur franchise, bringing back Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and Divyenndu, alongside a larger ensemble including Rasika Dugal, Abhishek Banerjee, Shweta Tripathi and others. Directed by Gurmmeet Singh and written by Puneet Krishna, the film is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment and presented by Amazon MGM Studios. With a second post-credits scene already waiting in the wings, Part 2 clearly has more chaos in store.

KnowBuddys Take

WAIT… THERE WAS ANOTHER POST-CREDITS SCENE?! Mirzapur really said:
“Here’s one cliffhanger. The other one? You’ll have to wait.” The wild part is that the second scene wasn’t deleted because it was bad it was apparently saved for Part 2 because it hits harder there. And now we have absolutely ZERO details about what happens in it.The spoiler game is officially stronger than Mirzapur’s entire gun game.
