The superstar is expected to open Koffee With Karan Season 9 as the first guest, with the upcoming season reportedly introducing a revamped format. If confirmed, this will also mark Salman’s first solo appearance on the show.

Salman Is Set To Open Season 9

According to a report by Variety India, Salman has confirmed his appearance to Karan Johar and is expected to headline the premiere episode. An official announcement from Karan Johar or the makers is still awaited.

Salman has appeared on Koffee With Karan before, but never alone. His previous appearances included his father Salim Khan and later his brothers Arbaaz and Sohail Khan. Season 9 could finally see Salman taking the couch entirely by himself.

The ninth season is reportedly expected to have a “new syntax”, with shorter segments and changes to the show’s familiar format. The season is likely to stream on JioHotstar around October-November 2026, during the Diwali period.
