On Friendship Day, Anil Kapoor paid an emotional tribute to his late friend Satish Kaushik, sharing a heartfelt note that reflected on their decades-long bond. Calling Satish the one friend he could always turn to for laughter, gossip and comfort, Anil admitted that his absence is still deeply felt.

‘Satish Was That Person For Me’

Sharing a nostalgic video featuring moments from their journey together, Anil wrote that everyone has one friend they instinctively call during life’s toughest moments.He described Satish as that person in his life—the friend who stayed by his side from the beginning of his acting career until his passing. Anil added that while he misses Satish’s humour, energy and immense talent, what he misses most is simply his friend.

A Friendship That Spanned Decades

Anil and Satish shared a close friendship for over four decades, working together in several memorable films, including Mr. India, Ram Lakhan, Deewana Mastana and Badhaai Ho Badhaai.Their bond extended far beyond cinema, with both often describing each other as family rather than just colleagues.

Satish Kaushik passed away in March 2023 following a heart attack, leaving behind a lasting legacy as an actor, filmmaker and writer.Even years later, tributes from his closest friends continue to remind fans of the warmth, humour and kindness that defined his life both on and off screen.
