Parineeti Chopra has opened up about returning to work after motherhood and praised fellow actors Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra for continuing to build their careers after becoming mothers. 1. Parineeti says motherhood hasn’t limited her work
Parineeti, who welcomed her son Neer with husband Raghav Chadha in October 2025, said she hasn’t experienced a noticeable change in the kind of roles being offered to her since becoming a mother.According to the actor, she hasn’t had filmmakers tell her that motherhood is changing the kind of work they want to offer her something she sees as a positive sign for the industry.
2. She credits audiences for changing the conversation
Parineeti believes the shift isn’t happening only within the film industry. She said audiences are no longer automatically rejecting women because they are mothers, allowing writers, directors and actors to continue creating stories featuring working mothers. For her, changing audience attitudes have played an important role in making this possible.

Motherhood hasn’t changed Parineeti’s ambition as an actor. She said she wants to continue working and aims to give her best on screen for her son. Her approach is to be fully present at work when she’s working and then return to her baby.

KnowBuddys Take
Motherhood didn’t end the career. It just added another tab to the browser.
Parineeti Chopra’s point is actually pretty important.
Alia. Deepika. Priyanka. Parineeti.
Different careers. Different journeys. Same message: having a baby doesn’t mean you stop being ambitious.
And honestly, the 50-50 parenting approach with Raghav deserves a little applause too. 👏
Mom mode AND career mode? Turns out both can exist.
