The loss of Pradeep Rawat has left the film industry mourning one of its most recognisable performers. At the actor’s prayer meet in Mumbai, his son Vikramaditya Singh Rawat delivered an emotional tribute while remembering his father’s final days and the legacy he leaves behind. Here’s what happened:

Vikramaditya Gets Emotional

Vikramaditya Singh Rawat became visibly emotional while speaking about his father at the prayer meet. He recalled Pradeep Rawat’s courage during his battle with blood cancer and spoke about how difficult it was for the family to see his health deteriorate.

“I Will Carry Forward His Legacy”

During the tribute, Vikramaditya said he wanted to carry forward his father’s legacy. He spoke about following the path his father had created and continuing his name in the industry.

A Career That Left A Mark

Pradeep Rawat was known for powerful performances across Hindi and South Indian cinema. From Lagaan and Ghajini to his memorable portrayal of Ashwatthama in Mahabharat, the actor built a career spanning more than four decades.

Friends And Colleagues Remember Him

Several members of the film fraternity attended the prayer meet to pay their respects. Actors and colleagues remembered Rawat not only for his performances but also for the friendships and relationships he built throughout his career.

His Legacy Lives On

Pradeep Rawat passed away on August 4 at the age of 74 following a battle with blood cancer. His work across Hindi, Tamil and Telugu cinema has left behind a body of performances that continues to be remembered by audiences.
